REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 2 years driving experience

• No more than 2 moving violations in the past 2 years

• Trucks must be able to pass a DOT inspection

• No more than 1 million original miles on trucks

• If you got your own trailer, no older than 10 years

• No felony convictions in the last 15 years

• No preventable accidents in the last 3 years

• SAP drivers must have all steps completed

• No DUI, no DWI last 10 years

• No equipment abandonment

• Great communication, professional attitude

• Do I have to have my own authority to sign on?

  • No, you’ll be operating under our authority.

• Do I have to run under your plates or mine?

  • We recommend you getting your own plates, but we can also get the plates for you. We require $500 down-payment to start the plates and remainder is deducted by $100 weekly from settlements until the target is reached. We get the plates same or next business day.

• What type of equipment do you run?

  • We run Dryvans, Reefers, Flatbeds.

  How much money can I make as an owner operator?

  • Will depend on you and your work ethics. Our top drivers are averaging $7,000-$9,000 and more per week.

• How can you guarantee I will be successful at JRV?

  • We strategically built our company based on teamwork. Dispatchers and drivers are operating on gross percentage basis, therefore, it is everyone’s best interest to keep drivers moving smoothly with best paying loads.

• How many miles per week?

  • Solo 2500-3500 no limit.

  • Teams 4000-6000 no limit.

• Can I use my own fuel card/credit card?

  • Yes.

• What kind of ELD do you use, and can I use mine?

  • We use Motive ELD at no cost to you.

• How long is the orientation and where?

  • 1 day.

  • Online or at the Tampa location in person.

• Am I required to do a 90 day DOT inspection on my equipment while leased on?

  • Yes, and we pay or reimburse passed inspections.

  • We get inspections done at TA/Petro, Speedco, Loves and dealerships.

• Do you have a Lease-Purchase program?

  • Yes, 2020-2023 Freightliner Cascadias.
